Save the Music Foundation’s mission is to help students, schools, and communities reach their full potential through the power of making music. The organization donates instruments and music technology, provides support services for teachers, and advocates for music education.

Building an infrastructure which will support future careers is critical to the state of Georgia’s ability to keep education on pace with job creation. In 2021, Save The Music (STM) launched a major systems-level initiative with Atlanta Public Schools (APS), Fulton County Schools and Cobb County School District to invest in instrumental and music technology education for at least 80 public schools with need and readiness by 2026.

The Music Education Group (MEG) proudly serves as the in-state partner for the Save the Music Foundation, facilitating the delivery of impactful programs throughout Georgia. MEG provides essential training on both hardware and software for students and teachers, ensuring that participants have access to the latest tools in music and digital media education. By equipping educators with these resources, MEG helps schools create dynamic learning environments that foster creativity and skill development.

These programs are facilitated year-round across 17 middle and high schools, providing consistent access to music education and digital media training. By working closely with schools, MEG ensures that students receive hands-on experience with industry-standard technology, empowering them to explore their talents and pursue potential careers in the creative arts. This partnership strengthens MEG’s mission to inspire and educate the next generation of musicians and media professionals.
