Wednesday, August 26, 2026 | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Big Peach Running Co. – South Fulton
60 Years. 60 Kilometers. One Purpose.
Music Education Group, Inc. (MEG) is celebrating Founder and CEO Ric Ross’ 60th birthday with a 12-hour, 60-kilometer treadmill run supporting youth education, creative workforce development, and community wellness.
The Mission
Funds raised will support MEG’s Mobile Music Technology Unit, a mobile classroom bringing hands-on education directly to schools and underserved communities across Georgia.
Students will gain exposure to careers in:
- Music production and audio engineering
- Film, video, and digital media
- Podcasting and content creation
- Live sound and entertainment technology
MEG has already raised approximately $20,000 toward the mobile unit.
The event will also promote health and wellness while highlighting Black-owned businesses and community organizations. Partners can participate through wellness activities, product showcases, community experiences, and treadmill relay opportunities.
Documentary and Sponsor Exposure
Saucony is providing footwear and apparel support, and the event journey will be documented in a 30–40-minute film covering Ric’s training, the 12-hour run, community participation, and the impact of MEG’s educational programs.
Sponsors may receive visibility through the documentary, livestream, social media, event signage, promotional materials, and community marketing.
