Year Round Programs
The Music Education Group (MEG) takes a holistic approach to serving young people by focusing on their personal, academic, and leadership development. Through our Educational Enhancement Programs, students are provided with opportunities to fulfill school community service requirements while gaining valuable leadership skills. These programs empower young people to actively contribute to their communities, building confidence and responsibility along the way.
MEG’s programs run year-round, offering students a variety of volunteer and networking opportunities. One of our most anticipated events is the annual “Field of Screams” Halloween Haunted House, which brings joy to the kids in the Pittsburgh and Mechanicsville neighborhoods. These events not only offer students a chance to give back but also foster a sense of belonging and community engagement.
Additionally, MEG hosts Back-to-School drives, providing backpacks and school supplies to students in need. These efforts ensure that young people are prepared for the school year ahead, while also reinforcing the importance of supporting one another within the community. By combining leadership development with meaningful service opportunities, MEG helps students grow into well-rounded individuals who are ready to make a positive impact on the world.
